Hilo is named after the main island in Hawaii, where, if you are ever lucky enough to visit, be sure to go to the famous poke destination, Suisan Fish Market.

Raw fish is a delicacy of its own and is eaten around the world. Sushi from Japan, ceviche in Spain and Latin America, Italians eat Crudo and for the Scandanavians, their favorite is gravlax. Hawaii has poke.

And that's where our story starts.

Hilo Poke and Sushi is a chef-driven poke and sushi bar. Our poke is sushi-grade and staff are well trained by experienced sushi chefs. You’ll find our imaginative combinations made with the freshest ingredients, housemade sauces, and our generous servings will become your favorite place to be.

Poke and Sushi is a passion project for our team. We are passionate about the quality and sustainability of the fish that we serve, about the creative menu items we create and about the customer service that we will provide.
